Sinclair Select Inspire Vibrating Massager Blue

What the Sinclair Select Inspire Vibrating Massager is

The Sinclair Select Inspire is a blue vibrating personal massager supplied as a single unit in a printed carton. The brand name on the front of the pack is sinclair select, set beneath the line "Natural Health and Wellness", and the item itself is named on the carton as the INSPIRE vibrating massager — printed bilingually in English and French, where it appears as masseur vibratoire. It is listed here in our Vibrators range.

Everything described on this page is taken from the product photography and from what is printed on the carton itself.

Design and build

The Inspire has a one-piece contoured body with a smooth, matte, unbroken surface — there is no ribbing, beading or applied texture anywhere along it. Its profile is the defining feature: a rounded, slightly bulbed tip, then a narrowed neck, then two further gentle swells down the shaft, so the diameter rises and falls rather than running straight. That wave gives the body shape without adding surface detail, and it is what distinguishes the Inspire from the plain cylindrical massagers it sits beside in the Adult Toys category.

The whole body is a single uniform mid-blue. The only break in the colour is at the very base, where a short, translucent, vertically ridged collar steps out slightly from the body. That collar is the control: the carton describes it as an "Easy-dial controller", and the ridging is there so it can be gripped and turned. There are no buttons, no separate control pad and no trailing cable — the entire interface is that one dial, which is a genuinely useful thing on a device you may be operating without looking at it.

A badge on the front of the carton marks the massager as water resistant. Read that as printed: water resistant is not the same thing as waterproof or submersible, and the carton does not make the stronger claim. In practice it describes a body built to cope with rinsing and wiping rather than one intended to be dunked or taken into a bath.

How to use and look after it

Operation is handled entirely by the dial at the base: turn the ridged collar to switch the motor on and keep turning to move through the speed settings, then turn it back to stop. Because the control is at the opposite end from the tip, it stays accessible while the massager is in use, and it can be adjusted a step at a time rather than cycled through a fixed button sequence.

The carton carries a column of small multilingual print down one side panel with the manufacturer's own care, power and safety information. That panel is the authoritative instruction set for this product, so keep the carton and read it before first use — the manufacturer's printed wording takes precedence over anything summarised on this page.

General good practice for any vibrating massager applies here. Wash it before first use and after every use with warm water and a mild antibacterial soap, taking care around the dial collar, then dry it fully before storing. Given the water-resistant rather than waterproof marking, rinse and wipe rather than submerging. Store it dry, away from direct sunlight and not pressed against other toys. If you are putting it away for a long stretch, take the batteries out first, which avoids leakage damage inside the battery compartment.

Who it's for

This is a product for adults aged 18 and over who want a straightforward, single-control personal massager rather than a device with app connectivity, rechargeable docks or multi-button programmes. The appeal is simplicity: one dial, a range of speeds, and a contoured body with no exposed seams or sharp edges along it. If you are shopping across our Women's Products range and weighing a first massager against something more complicated, the Inspire is at the uncomplicated end of that scale.

It is equally a reasonable pick as a replacement for an older massager with a worn button pad, since a twist dial has fewer failure points than a membrane switch. It is not the right choice if you specifically need a submersible device, a rechargeable one, or a textured surface — none of those is what this product is.

Good to know

Frequently Asked Questions

How do you turn the Sinclair Select Inspire on?

You turn the ridged collar at the base of the massager. That collar is the entire control system — the carton calls it an "Easy-dial controller" — and turning it further moves through the multi-speed settings. There is no separate button or remote.

Is the Inspire waterproof?

No — the carton marks it as "water resistant", which is a weaker and more specific claim than waterproof. That makes it suitable for rinsing and wiping clean under running water, but it should not be submerged in a bath, sink or shower tray.

Which lubricant should I use with it?

A water-based lubricant is the safe default. Water-based formulas are compatible with every common personal-massager material, so they remain the correct choice when you do not want to risk a reaction with a device's surface finish. Silicone-based lubricants can degrade some soft-bodied toys over time, so avoid them unless the manufacturer's own printed instructions specifically allow them.

What is the surface of the Inspire like?

It is completely smooth and matte, with no texture, ribbing or raised detail anywhere on it. The shaping comes from the contour of the body — a rounded tip, a narrowed neck and two gentle swells down the shaft — rather than from any applied surface pattern.

How is this order packaged and shipped?

Every order ships in plain, unbranded outer packaging with no product images, no category wording and nothing on the outside that identifies what is inside. The printed Sinclair Select carton travels inside that outer packaging rather than acting as the shipping container itself.
