Platinum 24K is a men's herbal dietary supplement: one silver-toned capsule sealed on a gold rhino blister card. The label lists a proprietary botanical blend with Go Ji extract, Panax ginseng, cordyceps, cinnamon bark and vitamin B12, one capsule per serving.

What Platinum 24K is

Platinum 24K is a men's herbal dietary supplement supplied as one silver-toned capsule sealed in a clear blister on a gold rhino-embossed card. The capsule is a two-piece shell with a pale silver-grey fill, and the card is coded PLT-24K-PH9 on the reverse. One capsule is counted as one serving on the Supplement Facts panel.

It sits in the herbal single-serve category rather than the daily-multivitamin one: there is no bottle, no scoop and no 30-day routine attached to it. You buy one capsule on one card, which is why this format suits people who want to try a formula before committing to a larger pack. Browse the rest of the range in Rhino Platinum or across the wider Supplements for Men section.

What's inside

The back panel lists the contents as a single ingredient line with no per-ingredient milligram figures, so the amounts below are not published by the manufacturer and are not reproduced here. What follows is a description of each botanical as it is printed on the card — background only, not a statement about what the product does for you.

  • Go Ji Extract and Goji Berries — both appear on the panel. Goji (Lycium barbarum) is a small orange-red berry grown mainly in northern China and used for centuries in soups and teas as well as eaten dried.
  • Deng Sen Extract and Condonopsis — printed as two separate entries. Deng Sen (also written dang shen) is the root of Codonopsis pilosula, a bellflower relative long used in Chinese kitchen and herbal preparations.
  • Hawthorne Berries — the fruit of the hawthorn tree (Crataegus), a hedgerow shrub found across Europe, North America and Asia and a longstanding ingredient in European herbal traditions.
  • Cinnamon Bark — the dried inner bark of the cinnamon tree, one of the oldest traded spices and a common warming ingredient in herbal blends.
  • Horny Goat Weed — the common English name for Epimedium, a shade-loving flowering plant from China and Korea that is widely sold as a botanical supplement ingredient.
  • Lotus Seed — the seed of Nelumbo nucifera, eaten across East and South Asia both fresh and dried, and a traditional ingredient in tonic preparations.
  • Licorice — the root of Glycyrrhiza glabra. It is worth knowing that licorice root is not a neutral filler; the NCCIH page on licorice root sets out general background including who is usually advised to be cautious with it.
  • Cordyceps Sinensus — printed with that spelling on the card. Cordyceps is a genus of fungus that grows on insect larvae at high altitude in the Himalayan plateau; cultivated forms are now the norm in supplements.
  • Rubus — the plant genus that includes raspberries and blackberries. The card does not specify which species.
  • Panax Ginseng — the classic Asian ginseng root, and the most heavily documented plant on this label. General background is available in the NCCIH fact sheet on Asian ginseng.
  • Vitamin B12 — the only non-botanical entry, and the only one with an established dietary role; the NIH Office of Dietary Supplements consumer sheet on vitamin B12 explains what it is and where it normally comes from in food.
  • Proprietary Blend — printed as its own entry in the list, without a composition or an amount. We transcribe it as it appears rather than filling in a guess.

Because no quantities are declared for any of these, there is no way to say how much of each is in the capsule, and we do not estimate. For general context on how botanical supplement labels are put together, the NIH keeps a plain-language overview of botanical dietary supplements.

How to use it

The card directs one capsule, taken with water, and sets a firm upper limit: no more than one capsule every 60 hours. That interval is printed in the caution box and is the single most important instruction on the packaging — it is not a suggestion about timing, it is a ceiling on how often the product may be taken.

The panel also advises leaving one hour between this capsule and any other supplement. Separately, and more strictly, the caution box states that taking it together with any other medication is not recommended and should be avoided. Where those two lines could be read differently, follow the stricter one.

Store the card in a cool, dry place, out of direct sunlight, and leave the capsule sealed in its blister until you use it. The blister is the product's only moisture barrier.

Who it's for

This is an adult product for men aged 18 and over who are looking at single-serve herbal supplements rather than a daily regimen. The single-card format suits someone comparing formulas, or someone who would rather not keep a standing supply in the cupboard.

It is not suitable for anyone under 18, and the packaging itself directs anyone with a health condition, or anyone taking prescription medication, to speak to a physician first rather than to try it and see. If you are in either group, that conversation should happen before you buy, not after.

Good to know

  • The caution box reads: consult a physician if you have health issues or undesirable effects; store in a cool and dry place; taking with any other medication is not recommended and should be avoided; do not take more than one capsule every 60 hours.
  • Herbal supplements are not reviewed or approved before sale in the way medicines are. The FDA publishes consumer guidance on dietary supplements that is worth reading once if this category is new to you.
  • Keep the card out of reach of children. The blister is small and the capsule is loose inside it once opened.
  • We are not the manufacturer. Herbal formulas affect people differently depending on age, body size, diet and other factors.
  • No Proposition 65 warning is printed on this packaging, so none is reproduced here.

Shipping and packaging

Your order ships in plain, discreet packaging with nothing on the outside indicating the contents, sent under a neutral business name rather than CaliPills. Orders leave by the next business day, and an expedited option is available at checkout. Product photographs are illustrative. Packaging, lot codes and printed dates vary between shipments. If the product is not right for you, supplements bought from CaliPills may be returned under our return policy.

Frequently Asked Questions

How many capsules come on one card?

One. A single Platinum 24K capsule is sealed in one clear blister on one gold card, and that single card is what this listing sells.

How often can I take it?

No more than one capsule every 60 hours, which is the limit printed on the card itself. One capsule equals one serving, and the packaging gives no instruction for taking more than that within the interval.

Can I take it alongside my regular medication?

No — the packaging specifically advises against it, stating that taking the capsule with any other medication is not recommended and should be avoided. It also directs anyone with a health condition to consult a physician before use, which applies to anyone on a prescription.

Is the formula vegetarian or allergen-free?

The card makes no vegetarian, vegan, gluten-free or allergen claim, so we cannot state one. The capsule shell material is not declared on the packaging either; if you avoid gelatin or have a food allergy, read the ingredient list above and check with the manufacturer before use.

Will the delivery show what I ordered?

No. The outer packaging carries no product name, no imagery and no description of the contents, and the sender name on the label is a neutral business name.

These statements have not been evaluated by the Food and Drug Administration. This product is not intended to diagnose, treat, cure, or prevent any disease. Dietary supplement for adults 18 and over. Consult a licensed healthcare professional before use, especially if you have a medical condition, heart concerns, or take prescription medication (including nitrates). Keep out of reach of children.

Waste of time and money. Waited a few hours, on an empty stomach so it can hit the blood stream quick-nothing. I watched videos to help get the momentum going- nothing. I ended up falling asleep. Woke a few hours later-nothing. The silver pill definitely did not work for me!
